NAAMLP Scholarship

The $2,500 NAAMLP Scholarship is to assist in the education of students whose intention is to work as scientists, engineers or technicians in the field of mine land reclamation.



The Fall Conference of the National Association of Abandoned Mine Land Programs is hosted by West Virginia AML in Canaan Valley.

2024 Hardrock Abandoned Mine Lands Reclamation Award Program

The National Association of Abandoned Mine Land Programs is requesting nominations for the 2024 Hardrock Abandoned Mine Lands Reclamation Awards to recognize exemplary projects in two categories:

  1. Remediation of Contamination Impacting the Environment or Human Health, and

  2. Remediation of Physical Safety Hazards at legacy abandoned hardrock mines in the United States.
